I selected the dragonfly because it symbolizes strength, courage and happiness. All lower case letters because it is starting out small.
Art has always been a love of mine. An inspiration. A memory of sitting with my mother and drawing vases filled with daisies. A dream of being a grade school art teacher. Giving children a chance to learn and appreciate art. To create in their own style. no rules, no limits.
As an adult I have fallen into the fast paced world of technology and data. Living through the love of music and drawing which flows from my children. Amazing, talented, independent and strong. It is through them that I have learned that it is time to spread my wings and enter into the unknown. To work with my hands, to be creative. To try.
